Help Our Group Raise Funds
By Using Gift Cards for Your Everday Spending
Do you buy groceries, gas, household items, shop at department or renovation stores, do you eat in restaurants,
go to the movies or need gifts for holidays, birthdays & special events?
FundScrip is a fundraising program that lets our group raise much needed funds simply by purchasing gift cards
to the stores you are already shopping at. You purchase a $100 grocery card and your will receive a $100 gift
card and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to our fundraising campaign.
HOW DO I ORDER?
An order form with the complete list of available gift cards is available from the office. Simply write in the
number of each card you would like to purchase, and submit it to you group administrators (Jodi Sullivan or
Nicole Dallaway) along with your payment.
ASK FRIENDS & FAMILY TO SUPPORT OUR GROUP
We encourage you to invite your family members, friends, co-workers and neighbours to participate in Fundscrip
as well. After all, they probably buy groceries and gas just like you do. Distribute order forms to them, then
collect them a few days later along with their payment. Each paper order formsubmitted will come in a separate
envelope for easy distribution.
Thank you for supporting our group!

Snowflake Bazaar & Luncheon Held in early November each year, the annual Snowflake Bazaar and Luncheon is the major fundraising event for the parish. Planning starts early in the year, and offers plenty of opportunity for fun and fellowship for participants. From the bake table, crafts, Silent Auction, and children's area, to the delicious homemade luncheon served from the kitchen, this is a not-to-be-missed event in the community!
"Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3: 20-21
Christian communities are called to nurture faith in Christ and to serve the world God loves. Ministry is the cornerstone of realizing this call. To make ministry happen, financial stewardship is a necessity. At St. Thomas Anglican Church we make it happen through faithful and effective stewardship of our time, talents and money.

Ephesians 5:20
Gracious and loving God we thank you
for the many blessings of life.
We thank you for the gift of faith, the joy in believing, the fellowship of our community, and the ministry you entrust to us.
We thank you for the legacy of St. Thomas, Stittsville, and for the gift of the Holy Spirit that opens our hearts to new possibilities.
We ask for Your blessing as we continue to nurture faith in Christ, and serve the world You love so dearly.
Open our hearts and minds to your guidance as we pledge our offering to you in thanksgiving for your abundant grace.
May we always be mindful of the needs of others, showing forth your glory as is revealed to us in Jesus, our Lord.
Amen
