The A.C.W. endeavors to reach an awareness of members’ part in Christ’s mission through fellowship based on worship, learning, and sharing.
Membership in the A.C.W. is open to all women. If you are an Anglican church woman, you automatically belong to the A.C.W. in your parish. But there is no obligation. You may participate as much or as little as you like.
The A.C.W. will be giving their monthly meeting outreach to Hope Living Centre in 2025.
In 2024 the A.C.W. hosted 2 tea parties at the Carleton Senior's Apartments, the first in May and the second in December. Music, singing and refreshments were supplied by the A.C.W. members that attended. Both times, there was a good turnout of residents from the senior apartments and the feedback was that they had a great time and would like our group to return again.
As a memorial bequest from Josee Young to the A.C.W., two sets of frontals, one in white and one in green were purchased for the Altar. We still have money left over which has been earmarked for the projection system update.
